What's This? from the Help command on the menu bar is another method to get help.

To get help using this method,
Click Help on the

The mouse cursor changes to a question mark and an arrow . You can move the mouse cursor to the item in question, and click. Excel will display an explanation regarding this item.

Click the Bold button on the format toolbar.

Excel displays an explanation of the Bold button.

Microsoft Excel also displays the Question Mark button in the upper right-hand corner of any dialog box. This button has the same function as clicking What's This?
